A Really Big Greek Wedding!

This Saturday just past I was a guest at a good friend of mine’s wedding. Christos and his new wife Josephine are both Greek Cypriots and got married in an Orthodox Greek Church in London. Following that was an amazing reception at The Dorchester, Park Lane. As a guest, obviously I wasn’t working and didn’t have much gear with me – just a single lens and no flash. Nevertheless I tried to capture some of the excitement of the day, and here are the results…

There were over 400 people at the wedding – Christos and Josephine have a big family and plenty of friends!

The Greek dancing was a highlight. The father of the bride and father of the groom kicked it all off.
